A spoiled Cat, Customised cat run

on Thursday, 16 July 2020. Posted in cat run, Animal Cage

A very good example of a customised cat run. The customer has designed and used mesh rolls rather than framed panels for their roof, as it allows angled shapes.

Ares & Apollo's safe outdoor play area

on Monday, 25 April 2016. Posted in cat run, Animal Cage

Safe outdoor play area for Ares and Apollo, using the dog run 2 inch mesh panels.

The larger mesh is slightly cheaper and suitable for larger cats. Lindsey (the customer) has cleverly installed a perspex roof and black guttering to give the cats shelter. It looks like the cats love it. Great job Lindsey!

Bengal cats Milo & Lalya's Cat run

on Thursday, 28 May 2020. Posted in cat run, Animal Cage

2 very lucky Bengal Cats, Milo and Lalya have had a beautifully designed cat run built for them by their owners. The run is connected to the house by a high tunnel. Within the cage there area multitude of bespoke features and play activities. They have access to fresh air and play at all times. One of the best designs we've seen, well done Terry.

Cat run from landing through high level cat flap

on Tuesday, 15 December 2015. Posted in cat run

We Purchased a cat enclosure from you about 6 months ago, and have only just put it up last weekend. I wanted to write to you say how pleased I am with the product. At the time of searching for cat enclosure options, I considered making my own out of wood and mesh, but decided to go with the option of a proper enclosure from yourselves, and I am really glad I did.

The reason I bought mine, was because I saw people’s case studies on your website. I have attached a few images; we are looking to add additional levels, and also a ‘house’ at the bottom. The cat flap itself comes in from half way up our stairs, on the landing, and comes out half way up the house.

Thought I would send you a photo of the cat enclosure now it is up!
As you can see, we had varying heights both from the door then onto the grass plus the patio floods in the winter so we wanted it to be raised anyway so the sleepers were used.
We are delighted with it - the girls are out in it happily now and they are safe which is the most important thing.
We may add to it in the future but for now we are very happy with it.
Thank you for your patience but as you can see - the levels and size needed to be right!!!!

outdoor cat run

We are so glad we found you and thank you for our cat run. We are very impressed by your product and service. We needed a safe, secure area for our cats to run in but we also wanted to share their space too. With your help and knowledge we managed to enclose part of our garden and patio area (16’x12’x8') with only one central roof support. A cat flap gives our cats the independence to come and go as they wish within a safe, secure haven and at 8 feet high, we do not feel caged in. The panels and fixings are strong, robust and the run is certainly not going anywhere. Your product was so easy to use that we put it up in a weekend. Thank you again, Mrs Baggs, Headcorn, Kent.

Large outdoor cat run

I would like to say that Fine Mesh Metals were very helpful in assisting me with the panels i required to build my pen from a rough sketch i supplied. The assembly was very easy with a few basic tools and my cats love it, they cant wait to go out in the pen each day.

The Best Life for Jeffrey the cat with ‘Aids’

on Wednesday, 28 May 2014. Posted in cat run

In August 2013 I was asked by my local Cats Protection League branch, if it would be possible for me to look after a cat with Aids. He would need to be kept separate from other cats until a home could be sourced for him; I agreed and he came to live in my outside secure dog pen which had an insulated house attached to it; I named him Jeffrey.

The’ cat rescue’ was unable to find him a home so I asked if I could adopt him. I did not believe that ‘an inside home’ for the rest of his life was suitable for an ex-stray cat used to having the freedom of the ‘outside world’!

When my ‘dog pen’ had to come down due to a professional cat pen being built on its site, I had a specially designed weather proof home built for him which had heating, lighting and music. My problem was then to find a way of giving him ‘his own piece of my garden’ where he could roam freely albeit, unable to mix with other cats.

After some considerable time of researching the internet, I came across Fine Mesh Metals and duly contacted them, requesting their help with my problem of supplying Jeffrey with a suitable’ secure area’ to roam within my garden. Andy Beard Company Director, very kindly took the time and patience to explain how their mesh panels could be erected easily and effectively, in order to give ‘Jeffrey his freedom’ to live his life out, like a normal male cat would do.

Jeffrey is now able, subject to the weather, to enjoy lying amongst the bushes and grass or on his favourite garden bench, within his 8’ x 8’ pen at the top of the garden; he is able to’ chill out’, watch the birds and insects and laze around like all normal cats love to do.

He also loves sunning himself in his ‘tunnel pen’ 26’ x 2’, which he uses to go ‘to and fro’ between his house and his top garden pen.

I also had a pen 4’ x 4’, erected in front of Jeffrey’s house, in order to give me safe access to his house. He uses this pen to ‘pop into the fresh air’ to sit and watch our 2 dogs and many cats, playing in the garden outside our back door.

I cannot thank Fine Mesh Metals enough for giving Jeffrey his life back again

The Mathews' aviary extending from their conservatory.

conservatory-aviary

Hi
Please find attached photo’s of the 10x6 aviary we recently purchased from you, it was bought to attach to conservatory to allow our two cats access to fresh air and  us to have doors open in summer without Cats being able to get away ,as they are not allowed out and were breed for indoors
We are very pleased with how it has turned out and we hope you think the same.
There is very little in life that is a New idea but we think this use is quiet novel
